From e800c1b1e10b2e000661b16a422198ee7f1c148f Mon Sep 17 00:00:00 2001 From: Neil Graham <neilg@apache.org> Date: Mon, 5 May 2003 21:21:15 +0000 Subject: [PATCH] Adding optional support for reference counting of nodes within the DOM. This will only be enabled if the user defines XML_DOM_REFCOUNT_EXPERIMENTAL. The identifiers DOMNodeSPtr, DOMElementSPtr, and DOMAttrSPTR may be used in any context. Normally, these are simply typedef'd to DOMNode *, DOMAttr *, or DOMElement * as appropriate; if XML_DOM_REFCOUNT_EXPERIMENTAL is defined, these are typedef'd to templates that automatically enable reference counting. Thanks to Urs Muff for making the original suggestion, and for helping to verify this implementation. git-svn-id: https://svn.apache.org/repos/asf/xerces/c/trunk@174944 13f79535-47bb-0310-9956-ffa450edef68 --- src/xercesc/dom/DOMNode.hpp | 31 +++++++- src/xercesc/dom/Makefile.in | 3 +- src/xercesc/dom/StDOMNode.hpp | 134 ++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++ 3 files changed, 165 insertions(+), 3 deletions(-) create mode 100755 src/xercesc/dom/StDOMNode.hpp diff --git a/src/xercesc/dom/DOMNode.hpp b/src/xercesc/dom/DOMNode.hpp index 6c21baa0a..3e06cd82e 100644 --- a/src/xercesc/dom/DOMNode.hpp +++ b/src/xercesc/dom/DOMNode.hpp @@ -989,10 +989,37 @@ public: * INVALID_ACCESS_ERR: Raised if this Node has a parent and thus should not be released yet. */ virtual void release() = 0; + //@} +#if defined(XML_DOMREFCOUNT_EXPERIMENTAL) + // ----------------------------------------------------------------------- + // Non-standard Extension + // ----------------------------------------------------------------------- + /** @name Non-standard Extension */ + //@{ + /** + * This is custom function which can be implemented by classes deriving + * from DOMNode for implementing reference counting on DOMNodes.
