MCParticle in simulation

There are 2 MCParticle collections in the simulation:

• MCParticle contains the parent-daughter relations between the origin particles and the secondary particles in the detector.
• MCParticleGen contains the parent-daughter relations in the generator, but miss the relation in the secondary particles. Is this possible to merge these 2 collections together, to include the relations in both generator and secondary particles? Thank you!
